On last Saturday, 4th of May 2024, also the World Give Day, 14 volunteers from Ajar-ajar Malaysia Sungai Way Branch visited the old folks’ home, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Warga Emas Kenang Budi Kuala Lumpur, which houses 18 elderly residents from disadvantaged families.
Some foods and daily necessities were prepared and given to the old folks’ home. Dancing and singing sessions were being carried out there, to bring joy and happiness for the elderly. At noon time, volunteers also had a chance to lunch together with the elderly. The volunteers also crafted a beautiful and memorable photo card for the elderly, bringing them long-lasting joy.
This visitation has brought warmth and love to people. Meanwhile, the volunteering spirit grows in the hearts of all volunteers too. Let’s be the light that can shine the dark and bring the warmth!
